Mailing list discontinued (plus data protection statement)

Post by alex.pozgaj » Thu 24. May 2018, 23:07

Due to the unclear situation with the new data protection law (GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation), the Wing Helper mailing list is discontinued. The data you provided as you subscribed to that list will be deleted immediately, without the possibility to restore it. Of course, you can still reach us on our web page, on Facebook, on our support e-Mail address (support@winghelper.com) and here in forum!

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by this move and we hope to be able to resurrect this list in future in a GDPR-compliant form.

Considering protection of your data and privacy, we would like to point out the corresponding section of the Wing Helper licence text:

  • We will not track or collect any information about you, your data, or your use of the software except as you specifically authorize. The software will not download or install patches, upgrades, or any third party software without getting your permission. We will not intentionally deprive you of your ability to use any features of the software or access to your data.
Please also be reminded, that all Wing Helper sales are conducted by Fast Spring, under the terms and conditions listed on their site. Fast Spring, a leading provider of software sale services, acts as a re-seller for the Wing Helper application. Fast Spring has assured us that they are fully compliant with the GDPR. If you have any further questions, please contact Fast Spring directly. We are not liable or in any form responsible for eventual omissions with respect to the GDPR on the part of Fast Spring.

Of course, this announcement has nothing to do with Wing Helper itself, this is only about the mailing list.

Kind regards,
